Wind was founded in 1954 by the De Zutter family and has since become an international reference in the field of high-quality textile manufacturing and design. Wind is located in a region renowned for its textile industry since the 14th century; the brand embodies both experience and tradition.
The name Wind originates from the beautiful house where all our offices, stock, and quality control are still located today. The house is called Huyze Windroos. In the 1950s and 1960s, companies used telex to communicate with each other, and a four-letter word was required. We chose the first four letters of the house’s name: WIND.
Today, the new generation continues the house’s masterful craftsmanship and the brand’s core values while adding a personal touch. Wind now stands out for its exclusive designs, inspired collections, and customer-oriented philosophy.
